This is a message to all the Black pastors out there, who decry racial injustice, who stir up the people, who rail against the system - YOU are to BLAME for many of the problems facing your people today.
Yes, you are to blame. You shout, you complain, you point fingers, you incite the crowds, but what have you done to improve things? Four months ago, 75 Latino pastors joined together and went to President Trump, seeking help for their people and ways to move forward. They aren't marching in the street, they aren't looking to the past. They have focused on the future. They have recognized Trump as the country's top authority, and chosen to work with him for the betterment of their people. You do not have to like the man in the White House, but you do have to respect him, recognize his authority and work with him. Does not the Bible tell us that Jesus said, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and unto God what is God's" (Mt 22:21)? We must respect the laws as written before we can hope to change them. We must work with the system to affect change, not tear the system down, and then complain it is not helping us. The coronavirus is plaguing our country right now, and scientists are working on a vaccine - to do that, they use parts of the virus itself to prep the body's defenses to fight against the virus. Work WITH the system, not against it.
The time for marching is over. The time for ACTION has come. Marching, demonstrations, rallies - they all serve one purpose: to bring attention to a cause. Well, you have the world's attention - now what will you DO with it? Don't wait, sit down now with President Trump, work for positive change within the system for your people. Be the leaders you claim to be. Many of you say to wait, believing Biden will be elected, but I say, "Why wait?" Haven't we waited long enough? It's time to get the ball rolling. If positive change comes about, it will continue no matter who is elected, because it is right and just, regardless of party. Don't wait.ZOEPOUND.COM Get together and sit down with Trump. You have the momentum, you have the drive, don't lose it! Honestly, if Biden wins, people will become complacent again, as they did under Obama, believing simply because their man is president things will change, but they will do nothing to change them. They will think just because their party is in control, things are better, but nothing will be done. Obama and Biden had eight years, eight years during which people believed things would get better just because they were there. At the end of the eight years, what was better? For our people, not much. Everyone stood by, thinking things would change, and forgot to do the changing. Trump is your best chance, your best choice, for achieving true and lasting change. Work with him now, don't wait! He will follow through. Trump does not make empty promises like so many politicians, especially the Democrats we followed for so long, have done in the past.
